Hurricon, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating community-centered events that entertain, inspire, and give back.

We believe events can do more than fill a calendar. They can bring people together, support worthwhile causes, create opportunities for artists, vendors, performers, and small businesses, and strengthen the communities around them. That belief is what drives everything we do.

Hurricon, Inc. exists to create inclusive, community-centered events that entertain, inspire, and generate meaningful impact through charitable support, local partnerships, and shared experiences.

What We Do

Hurricon, Inc. develops and supports public events designed to bring people together through creativity, community engagement, and shared experiences.

Our work includes organizing themed and pop-culture events, building family-friendly experiences, partnering with sponsors and community supporters, creating opportunities for vendors, artists, and performers, and using events as a platform to encourage charitable giving and public involvement.

Under the Hurricon, Inc. umbrella, events such as Hurricon WV and the Hurricane Renaissance Faire each have their own identity and audience, but all are built around the same purpose: creating memorable experiences that serve the community in meaningful ways

Why It Matters

We created Hurricon, Inc. because we believe communities need more than transactions. They need experiences that bring people together around something positive.

We want the events we build to feel welcoming, memorable, and worthwhile to the people who attend them, while also creating real value for the broader community. Whether someone participates as an attendee, sponsor, vendor, artist, volunteer, or supporter, we want them to feel part of something that has purpose behind it.
